Official word of the determination was provided in a statement issued by Tottenham to the stock exchange, confirming the club is ânot in an takeover phase.â
He posted an picture of the announcement on digital channels, adding: âI've had a pleasure discussing with Tottenham Hotspur and the Lewis family's representatives over the past few months.
âI hold great respect for the team, its executives, and its supporters, and wish them continued achievements.â
The club's board thanked the consortium for its âcooperative stanceâ in discussions and for âacknowledging the firm stanceâ of the owners that the club is not for sale.
