In a bizarre collaboration that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Disclosed

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine cult.

The questline centers on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Additional Features

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to numerous items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
